U.S. Marshals (1998)

The Fugitive is one of my top 10 favorite movies of all time, so how could I not love it's unofficial sequel, U.S. Marshals? Almost all of the marshals from the Fugitive return for this film and are chasing after a new fugitive. You don't feel quite as sympathetic towards Snipes as you did Ford but this has a major twist late in the film. Outstanding movie!
An unnecessary sequel to The Fugitive. Not a disspointment, because I knew it pretty much would suck. Lacks the excitement from the original. Wesley Snipes is no Harrison Ford.

U.S. Marshals (1998): 5/10

Here's another film rating.

You know the theory sequels pretty much suck, well Im a firm believer that most of the time thats utterly true but with U.S Marshals the sequel to one of my all time favourites The fugitive this does not apply because whilst its not great and its the same thing all over again as the first, its pretty much entertaining throughout the duration. Granted Welsey Snipes is no Harrison Ford, and Robert Downey Jr's lacklustre in his role, but Tommy Lee Jones (Sam Gerrard) and Joe Pantaliano (Cosmo) reprising their roles is met with a thumbs up from me because their constant bickering is amusing. U.S Marshals has some solid action sequences, some suprisinging twists, and some good one-liners, it was solid entertainment that I enjoyed, but nowhere near the standards of the first.
Quite a random movie to start my blog off with, but hey, it's the most recent movie I watched, so to hell with it.

U.S. Marshals, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Wesley Snipes, is a spin-off/sequel to the 1993 action thriller The Fugitive. Jones reprises his role as an experienced U.S. Marshal on the tail of a escaped criminal (Snipes). As with it's mother film, convict Snipes claims he was set up and attempts to uncover the truth about who was behind the murders he was framed for. The acting for most part is adequate, yet nothing to write home about. The action sequences are fairly exciting, but once again nothing action fanatics haven't seen before. The plot is easy to follow, right up until the end when an unexpected twist leaves the viewer scratching their head, saying "huh?" Suffice to say that there seems to be no reason for the framing of Snipes.

U.S. Marshals has some of the elements that made The Fugitive so fun to watch, but falls flat in terms of the plot. Do yourself a favor and stick with Harrison Ford's '93 classic.
Tommy Lee Jones did a pretty good job in this movie, and Wesley Snipes did an awesome job. The movie is action-packed with many unpredictable twists and turns. Special effects were a little outdated, but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It kept you on an easy to follow storyline, but a subplot which you were kept guessing at throughout the movie. I wish there was a sequel with Snipes on thier side. I give this an 8 for the great story and good acting.
great flick
U.S. Marshals
Exciting, very fast paced. Some great action scenes. I never lost interest. The acting is fine, the plot is a little far fetched though. Well edited, powerful score, very good cinematography.
I thought this movie was really entertaining.
Not a award-winner, but a good cop movie.
This is the sequel to The Fugitive. The movie was good, but not as well written as The Fugitive. We still has Tommy Lee Jones and the members of his team, running down fugitives and bringing in the bad guy. I love Tommy he can be so serious, but funny at the same time. We also get a bonus we get Robert Downey Jr So cute and younger.
