Hello fellow Solarians,
I felt its needed to do a blog so that everyone can read and know what is going on. As you all know, for a few months there had been issues with imarobot randomly muting users for no reason. We had found that randomly chosen (some more than others) who comment/reply with 200+ characters got muted. It took admins time but they found the root to the problem.
This will be rectified at the end of the week if not a bit later.
So for those that have stopped commenting because your afraid to get muted by imarobot need not worry. You will be able to comment till your hearts content. Sooner than never right?
V 1.0. So it must be Sunday for most of you. When it comes to Wednesday and you still find that you or another user are getting muted for no reason, bring it to my attention via private message and I'll have a look at it.
Lately Solarmovie has been plagued by the epidemic of people spoiling episodes / movies on the review comment page and I feel this needs to be addressed, please be aware that this is against the [https://www.solarmovie.is/rule...] and such activity will warrant a mute / ban depending on the severity of the spoiler! It does not matter even if you place SPOILER at the top of your review to warn people, it is forbidden and against the rules. A warning will only be Issued ONCE, if you continue to spoil a Mute / Ban could be enforced. Some small talk is ok, but mostly it is for reviews only, if you wish to talk deep details about episodes / movies please take it to the forum, as such talk is not prohibited there..
If you would like to know what constitutes as a Spoiler, See Below:
Thank you for understanding... SparkyKarl.
Please add links to TV SHOWS via TV SHOWS FORM not MOVIE FORM.
And fill ALL fields which are there with VALID data.
Those who fail to understand this simple requirement will be punished. Linkers will be demoted then banned, non-likers will be banned right away.
PS. those who do not receive notifications for new movies and episodes and see some movies "broken" or episodes missing can thank those beautiful uploaders that cannot fill forms properly.
Hello fellow Solarians,
Few weeks ago we warned our users about a mandatory login change and today it happened. All login names were changed and if you are unable to login - you can check your new name [http://www.solarmovie.so/new-n...].
We also got a new feature for you. We added a reply feature, so from now on if you click on reply, the message that you're replying to and the nickname of the recipient will be quoted in your message.
And of course we nailed some nasty bugs.
Well, Indiegogo says ALL proceeds from the film will go to "The Batkid Fund" which supports local San Francisco charities. So I am not sure how much of that will be for childhood Lukemia.
Anyways, yea it was a feel good story, and filmed from a perspective that leads you away from the sadness, and points you to some goodness. But behind all that goodness, it's about people everywhere wanting to be involved and not really offering hope or help for the cause. I mean, the campaign to make the film had an opening requirement of $100k. It got $109k. You'd think with all the people who thought this was so cool and wanted to be a part of it, they would have at least raised 10 times that. Nope, the only thing that went around 10 times that was sharing on social media, the new "Oh I donated", which in reality doesn't do jack doo doo to help pay for research, bills, and survival. 5/10
I really wanted to get into this season, but it's just not as interesting as the first. I know they're trying to make it intriguing with the corruption angle and high rollers, but it lacks the simplicity that the first season had. The dichotomy of characters with Rust and Marty made the show humorous at times, but because they've given all four main characters Rust's bleak personality the show is just kinda bland.
The show was a fresh take on the crime drama genre that is so overused on TV now. It was in the backwoods of the south, two detectives who were practically opposites, film-noire, southern gothic, about cult influenced serial murders. It was awesome, and I actually got to know the main characters and why they made their decisions. But now, I don't really know much about the main people, nor do I care to. They made the show in LA about a city planner's murder? Corrupt politicians and call girls? Who cares about that anymore? Every cop show on TV is about that.
It's about to be the finale, and I don't even care what happens. I hope they go back in the third season to a simpler premise with deep character roots. I remember how tense I was the last few episodes of season 1. I don't feel any of that now. I'll still watch, but only because I'd be mad if I wasted 7 weeks just to skip the ending.
How incredible was that series of television?! Wow. Built up from the beginning to end just right.
This show has accomplished something others rarely have. Real, unadulterated science fiction. Even the opening theme is daunting. And then to top it all off, they go ahead and give the subject of the sci-fi, the Synths, an experience of their own brand of sci-fi with consciousness! Incredible, even better than the original source.
And Katherine Parkinson, what a stellar performance. Cannot wait for series 2 even though it will not be able to top this opening attempt.
THE cam I picked didn't have the plane scene. I read ti was in the beginning before the credits. Kinda bummed out it wasn't there But the rest of the story was interesting. I'll likely watch it again when a BRRip is available. Look for the cams with the highest ratings. Yes they are cams but some are very watchable.
