Movie trailer

Definitely a classic. You can never get tired of seeing this movie. And for sure you never get tired of quoting it.
You know a movie is a classic if people still watch it and can still quote it. This movie is one of those movies which never gets old and loved by people of all ages and both genders even 25+ years after the it came out in theaters.
It's well acted, well written, has a mix of action and romance. Plus the effects still hold up. It's also one of the most quotable films with such lines as:
"As you wish"
"You keep using that word. I don't think it means what you think it means."
"Have fun storming the castle."
"I'm not a witch, I'm your wife. After what you just said. I don't think I want to be that anymore."
"My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die."
Yeah, when I was a kid my family of used to drive the 1300ish miles to Florida once a year during a school break. We had one of those raised roof luxury van things, with a TV in it. We were allowed to bring 4 movies with us. They were always basically the same. It would be this, Spaceballs, Young Frankenstein, and the fourth was the only movie that ever changed, being whatever movie happened to catch our fancy at the time.
I'd dare say this is one of the best movies of all time. Hilarious and quotable, I've watched this at least twice a year since its release, and it's referenced by my entire family and friends often.

Great acting, hilarious dialogue, action, romance and a little suspense. If you haven't seen it, it's well worth a first look, and its re-watchability is extremely high. Great for families and little kids, too.
well good love story! not bad
Famous words ... Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die ... A kindly grandfather sits down with his ill grandson and reads him a story. The story is one that has been passed down from father to son for generations. As the grandfather reads the story, the action comes alive. The story is a classic fairy tale of love and adventure with swordplay, giants, an evil prince, a beautiful princess, and yes, some kissing (as read by a kindly grandfather).

Such a great movie, great to watch alone, on a date night, or with the kids.(not that I actually have any)"Sleep well and dream of large women" R.I.P. Andre the giant

i like it a lot
...and it's time for some football. And a little of The Princess Bride. I haven't watched it in bordering on months now... it's been far too long to take in this, one of life's simplest pleasures.

I won't wax on about all its glory- that's been done a million times over by me and a hundred other posters on Rotten Tomatoes. Let me just say that it is easily my favorite film of all time, and one that I shall reacquaint myself with this Saturday afternoon (along with a lot of sweaty guys in tight pants. Damn you for being so homosexual, football!!).

Oh, and Go Vols!!!!! They suck this year, like so many before it, and Casey Clausen is a complete idiot, but I love them anyways. Near and dear to my heart. But, since they're going to consistently disappoint me, screw them.

I adore this movie. I don't watch it often because I don't want to overdo it - to me, it's like that deliciously rich dessert you can treat yourself to once in a blue moon.

The characters are quirky, diverse, and wholly entertaining, and the story never lulls or drags on. Everyone involved is perfectly suited to his or her role. This is a movie unique unto itself; there is no other flick quite like it. The Princess Bride takes a storybook romance and injects a twist of fantastically dry humor that makes it an immensely enjoyable foray into a fairytale. And that's why I dig it like I do.

Well...that and Cary Elwes. As I wish, indeed.
