Movie trailer

@SPizzy you need to watch this atrocity of a film to be reminded of that?
What a beautiful movie.
Makes you realize what some people have to go through in life.
@JunoSkyra Yeah, spent a good 10mins reading through and laughing my ass off at them. I just hope Precious never came here and read what was said about her!
@Elfkin Most spoilers/different reviews removed now =)
I think with a system change over the years, some really odd comments pulled through, many have nothing to do with the film. Some are hilarious though, almost felt guilty for removing them.
Correct me i i'm wrong, but having just watched this, i don't believe the comments below relate to this movie! And if they do then i would have to strongly disagree :-)
I cool (stolen) idea that just can't deliver a good movie out of a good concept. I don't blame anyone but the screenwriter on this failure as the directing and acting was fine. The story is just bad.
Im completely confused. Precious looks like its a great movie. I was about to purchase tickets and realized its only being shown at 4 theatres in NYC. Why isnt this film being shown at more theatres? Im going to make sure I support this movie
"Precious" is on limited release. Try on November 20th for wider release of the movie. It will be in theaters that cater to independent films. So be sure to grab some friends and do a night out!
I was all excited to go see Precious this weekend, to find out ********* only being showed at 2 Movie theaters locally, and they are not being showed until 11/20. Why is this???? I'm in Raleigh, NC.....I definitely intend to support this movie the first chance I get where I can go see the movie.
I was lucky to see an advanced screening of this film. The characters have stayed with me; I can't stop thinking about them. It has been a long time since a movie has had that kind of impact on me. The acting was amazing across the board. Gabourey Sidibe is so real you believe every word, every breath she utters. Mo'Nique will shock you. She is stripped of all vanity, all artifice. There is no doubt Mo'Nique is an actress of the highest caliber. Mariah Carey, is excellent as a social worker. Her scene when she understands the enormity of the horror that is Precious' life, is touching without being sentimental. This is a hard story to watch, but well worth it.
