Really one of the worst versions of Peter Pan, that I've ever seen.

Absolutely massive derails from the novel, to the point of being a mockery of it.

1. On the way to Neverland, it is Wendy, not John, that Peter forgets.

2. Tigerlily shows a romantic interest in John, instead of Peter. This completely destroys the rivalry between Wendy and her.

3. Peter's emotions control the weather? Why?

4. Where's Wendy's pet wolf?

5. Slightly is supposed to be LARGE. Almost obese. It is due to his size, that Hook is able to sneak into his tree, and then poison Peter. Instead, he looks anorexic.

6. During the ending fight, none of the pirates were killed. In the novel, 15 die, plus Hook. Even young Michael gets a kill.

7. It's implied that only a short period of time has gone by since the children left. In reality, it's several MONTHS.

8. Where's the actual ending? The ending where Peter returns and doesn't remember Wendy. He doesn't remember Hook. Tinkerbell is dead, and he doesn't remember her either.

The depiction of Peter is a travesty. He's supposed to be young, dirty, and cocky. Covered in leaves and sap. Instead, they pick some spotlessly clean pretty boy who looks like he hasn't lived in the woods for 5 minutes.

Tinkerbell is one of the ugliest interpretations I've ever seen. What happened to her making noises like bells? Instead, all she does is sneer, and make grotesque faces.

Oh, and Smee is supposed to be IRISH. And where did that terrible CGI/animatronic parrot come from?

On and on it goes. I wish I could give this 0 stars. It's a truly appalling homage to a classic work.
