This is a good movie and a classic with many quotable lines.
It's completely normal that I know practically every line of this movie. I saw it the first day it came out and every time i see it on TV or whenever i feel like watching a good movie I always watch this one. Every girl loves mean girls.. It's just…i don't know a girl thing. Funniest best female movie.

This movie is so fetch and super grool!

You wouldn't think it, but this one will make you laugh. See what happens when you replace generic comedy with slightly dark humor? See writers?!?! SEE?!?!??!?!
Mean Girls is one of my all time favorite movies and, in my opinion, the classic movie of 90s generation (meaning while my mother forced me to watch Mrs. Doubtfire and Four Weddings and a Funeral, this may very well be the film I sit my future children down to see).

Fey's writing is unsurprisingly sharp, insightful, and of course, highly entertaining. The acting was decent enough but the real beauty in this film lies in the story - and the fact that all teenage girls can, in same way or another, relate to the characters.

Now I, for one, have never been hit by a bus, but can I honestly say I've never imagined that very thing happening to the girl I hated most in high school? Or more importantly, can you?
I can't really review Mean Girls fairly, being a male. In my honest opinion, Mean Girls is completely below average and fails to entertain. That being said, the acting isn't all bad and is the sort of film that stands out well among the countless list of rubbish comedy girly films.
I had alot of fun watching this movie, I wish there were a few more sequences with the imagination of the main character Cady. (like when she talks about the differences of girl world and africa) I thought this film was clever and smart, I still enjoy watching it to this day. Tina Fey did an excellent job in this movie and this is probably one of Lindsay Lohan's best films. I think she could be a great leading lady, if she opted for more roles.
Actually a very funny movie for what the premise is. Lohan's best movie to date. Tina Fey and Tim Meadows are hilarious. A fun movie, kind of silly, and a little heartfelt all mixed in.
Friends have been trying to get me to give this film a look for a couple of years, and though hesitant, I finally cracked last night. I have to say, I enjoyed the film much more than expected. Sure, the plot is cliched and silly, but there are some aspects of the film that were quite cunning. First of all, the foursesome of girls that make up the "Plastics" are absolutely stunning. Lindsay Lohan was at the peak of her sex appeal, and nothing about the film was hard on the eyes. However, it was the SNL members of this Lorne Michaels' production that stole the show. Tina Fey, Tim Meadows, and Amy Poler (spelling?) were, at times, on the top of their game. There is really no good reason to spill on and on about the picture, except to say that it is fun and watchable. "We will keep you here all night if we have to."
"We can only legally keep them hear until 4 o'clock."
"We will keep you here until 4 o'clock." :)
Very good looking girls fighting, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a good movie, surprisingly funny too. The only good movie that Lohan was ever a part of. Have I mentioned that that girls look good in this movie...yeah that was my favorite part.
Definitely funnier then the average teenage comedy, Mean Girls in one of the only chick flicks I've actually enjoyed.
The movie stars Linsdey Lohan, before she was at that stage where she was so annoying that everyone wanted her dead.
She does an alright job as new girl, and main character Katie.
It's the actual 'Mean Girls' though that make the movie. The standout being Rachel McAdams' Regina.
The movies turns out to be crude, original and often hillarious.
Mean Girls is the kind of flick that'll get a cult following from teenage girls and pleasantly surprise the guys.
The title may suggest otherwise, but 'Mean Girls' isn't a basic, stereotypical girly teenage comedy that fails to be funny. Instead, 'Mean Girls' successfully combines wit, stylish camera-work, and original metaphors to make one unique comedy.
Hilarious, so much better than I first expected
Can never get enough of the film!
Going in to this i honestly though it would be an awful chick flick full of girls comedy, as the girls i was watching it with kept quoting dumb line after dumb line. But to my surprise, i laughed throughout and thoroughly enjoyed this movie
It was nice to see LL pre-trainwreck, all fresh-faced and sweet. I don't know what I was expecting, I heard it had a great reputation. I thought it would be better. It's okay. For teen girl movies, I like "Jawbreaker", "Heathers" and "The Craft" better.
funny as hell and one of the few films Lindsay shows shes a worthy actress.
Overall a very enjoyable film. The cast was great and the dialouge was pretty clever. It was also surprisingly funny. This has some great lesson for teenage girls out there and I think most girls will be able to relate to this movie. For guys I can see why it may not being as great to you so i give this 3.25/4 stars.
Ok, you see, guys - I'm not gay.
But even I have to admit that this here was a funny movie.
The story is a perfect satire of the whole genre, the jokes were really fitting and Lindsay Lohan is just amazingly cast for her role.
