Holy cow!!! I cant believe its taken me this long to watch this master piece. WoW!!! This is brilliant!!
Incredible! Second favorite movie of all time.
HALLOWEEN (4 STARS)-Don't feel like commenting

DON'T TELL MOM THE BABYSITTER'S DEAD (4 STARS)- same on this

HEAVYWEIGHTS (4 STARS)-and this

JFK (4.5 STARS)-This I will, because its about the JFK assassination stars Kevin Costner, Tommy Lee Jones, Kevin Bacon (because its required a law back then that every movie must have Kevin Bacon), Gary Oldman, Sissy Spacek, Jack Lemmon, Joe Pesci, John Candy, & Donald Sutherland (who was fricken exilent in the 5 mins that he was in.) I love talking about the JFK assassination. But the only thing that we know is that there was a second shooter (the Zellpruder tape proves it, he was hit from the front.) and don't give me shit about seeing this Discover Channel special that says there was one shooter. I saw that same special, The tape shows him getting hit from the front.

FREDDY GOT FINGERED (.5 STAR)-Winner of 5 Razzies (well deserved) This movie actually kills brain cells.
Great, informative political thriller. It is one of the best political thrillers ever made. Though it runs more then three hours, it never gets boring and it is always intense. "JFK" also has one of the largest and best acting ensembles. The lead is Kevin Costner, who plays almost the same role he did in "The Untouchables", but still does it good, the long supporters list include Tommy Lee Jones, John Candy, Kevin Bacon, Jack Lemmon, Walter Matthau, Sissy Spacek, Donald Sutherland and many more. Oliver Stone`s finest achievement.
Whether you agree Jim Garrison's conspiracy theory or not, Oliver Stone's film is an effective mystery. Pieces of the puzzle are put together with great skill so that viewer is kept involved despite the length of the film. John Williams' score helps to build the atmosphere of intrigue and confusion. Kevin Costner is bland but that works well here since he's surrounded by an interesting group of colorful characters. This is definitely a good mystery and frightening one if even part of the conspiracy theory has validity.

Now here's a 3 hour film that moves like greased lightning. If you haven't seen it, go out right now and watch it. Now!
I forgot to go back and review these so I've forgotten most of what I had to say about them. I watched them all in history class.

Saving Private Ryan: this was a fairly good movie. the last few scenes were really great.

Apocalypse Now: most definitely a classic. it's not for most but it's incredible for those who can handle it.

JFK: after watching this movie, I was thoroughly convinced the JFK assassination was a US planned conspiracy.

Untouchables: eh, it was so-so.

Pearl Harbor: I guess I liked it, typical love/war storyline.
