SHOW ME THE WONEY!!!!!
"After Seeing This, Tom Cruise Is Officially One Of My Favorite Actors"

I have put off this review for 2 months. Well I got Ever After for a birthday present and I have had for 2 months. So I wasn't saying that I had seen it and been to lazy to review or anything. Ok I'll stop. But yeah, I shouldn't have put this review off because Ever After was a really good film. I enjoyed throughly. I didn't think it was going to be this good, but a lot of my friends were saying that it ranged from being just "ayight" to "awesome" So I had to see it. Drew Barrymore is a good actress, but I was always skeptical on whether or not she could pull off something like this, but she did with flying colors. She did a great job. But the highlight of the film was Anjelica Huston, she was amazing! Her scenes were the best in the film. She plays the perfect bitch. AH! I wish I could be like her. TEACH ME! I haven't ever cried in a film before, the closest I have ever came close to crying was in United 93. But in the scene where Drew walks up with her wings, I was like OOH! I felt so happy for her at that point. I was so involved in Ever After, not many drama's can do that. And Ever After was actually funny in some parts, it was also charming in some scenes. To put my review in a sentence: Ever After is a touching, and satisfying drama with some great performances.

Review coming soon.
A terrific mix of light comedy and several heartwarming moments make this film one of most enjoyable film ever experience that I've had. Tom Cruise, Renee Zellweger, and Cuba Gooding, Jr all gave excellent performances, and their characters are among the most likeable. Deserving of praise are the football action scenes, good performances, by the children, and a great script that kept me interested.

Jerry Maguire
Ah, yes, here we have the beginning of Tom Cruises' overacting period. Well, at least he's an entertaining overactor. A nice film, Cuba Gooding Jr is superb, at the top of his game, so to speak, but for some reason Renee Zellweger annoyed me. A lot.

Just so you know, this list can change at a drop of a hat at any given moment due to mood swings, stress, joyful happiness or even during those bad hair days, I may or may like something more than something else. That's why it's a top 10 for 'THIS MOMENT' and not 'OF ALL TIME'

As I look back at Oscar winners, at my own DVD collection, at movies I've seen in the theaters or on TV since I was a kid, here are my CURRENT TOP 10 FAVORITE MOVIES OF, and a comment about them: not a movie review, just an anecdote that brings me back to that day I watched it for the first time. And yes, I own all ten!
Jerry Maguire (1996)
My Rating: 10/10
Say Anything didn't make my list, but one Cameron Crowe movie did. I saw this in the theater with Donna. I'm not a sports agent, I'm not even close to being one or even knowing the life... but I felt it, I was there, I was Jerry Maguire writing that mission statement. One we all wish we could write but never do. I think I watched this movie more than any other movie on this list. I don't know why. It just has such appeal to me. Crowe's use of music really grabs a hold of me and locks me in and this movie really-really says something to me. I love it. I wish I was Jerry Maguire!

Now if you want a movie that defines average, look no further than Jerry Maguire. I was not overly impressed with this movie. I can see how it works and can be considered successful, but it just wasn't for me. This movie also makes me angry with the Academy. How Cuba Gooding Jr. beat Edward Norton for the Best Supporting Actor award is beyond me. Gooding says 'Show me the money'. Good for him. Norton actually acted out two different character to perfection in his debut role. Urgh. Anyway, that doesn't really have anything to do with this movie, but my point stands; Jerry Maguire is average.
