This was suppose to be one of the scariest but it was shotdown in flames.

The movies is about a guy who walks into town and ends up getting a job in a mill were workers have been disappearing and rats have been defending their empire. The story is adapts well to Stephen King short story. So usually you will see people getting killed by one by one.

This movie is entertaing to watch with gory parts and the deaths.

Ditto for Sleepwalkers. This movie was so awkward, so silly and so opposite of scary it hurt to sit through. I will say, though, that seeing the guy who played Otho in Beetlejuice die was strangely interesting. Alice Krige was good, but she was much better and played a much more relevant character in Silent Hill. 1/2* (out of ****) D-
I haven't seen this little horror gem since I was a kid. This Stephen King adaptation is ripe with a grimy, uneasy, and gruesome atmosphere. The charachters all feel kinda skeevy which adds to the claustraphobic nightmare that opens up towards the film's finale. It's also interesting on how serious it takes it's giant monster premise which makes it mostly work. And how can you not love those accents. Not a great film but a solid good one, worth a look.
