And amazing movie from start to finish, a great look at the Old NEW York and our country during a young Union.. If you liked BraveHeart your Love gangs of New York!

I try so hard to love this movie but I just can't, I appreciate it for what it is, but what it could be far succeeds that. It never really feels like a finished movie to me, there's always something that it's painfully missing.

I could watch this over and over again, such a classic.

perfect quality...

Major disappointment
Impresionantes actuaciones, con buenos sets y excelente historia dan el toque que se necesita para un gran film ijnteligentmente echo por Scorserse y Dicaprio
My favorite part of this movie is the beginning with Liam Neeson. That fight scene is awesome. The rest of the movie is just there. I felt it was way too long, but when it got exciting I couldn't look away. This isn't my favorite role with DiCaprio but it isn't a bad movie. Check it out if you have the time.
Daniel Day Lewis sells the movie. His performance is so engrossing and so creepy, you want to know more about him. I would've given this 5 stars if it picked up in the first half, but the first half was quite boring. The second half however blew me away, great direction, everything is so well done and accurate. The brawl scenes are done beautifully and I like the snipets of violence it shows you instead of big kill shots that blow your mind for only a minute. Instead Scorsese takes his time and keep us interested throuhout the second half. My advice nap through the first half because it's a long movie anyways, but then prepare for a blast in the second half. Thumbs up!
A Classic.
Martin Scorsese is always...
but it is Daniel Day Lewis who is the reason this film can stand on two feet.
