afi concert 8/10

and i haven't seen a lot of films lately due to my... lazyness
I walked out after maybe 10 minutes because Lindsay Lohan has gone from being a good, believable actress (Parent Trap) to an over the top, unbelievably bad actress (Freaky Friday). I'm still gonna rent this from Netflix when it comes to DVD next week, but I'm not holding my breath for anything more than what I saw. And for the record, Jamie Lee Curtis was great as always
Great movie for all family. Great Lohan, fantastic Curtis - that's the best piont of these film. There is a good screenplay too, and quite good directing. Take your family (especially parents) to saw it - let them see how's your life look. And vice-versa!
I actully injoyed this film it was pretty good. Considering I hate Jamie Lee Curtis, her voice is so shrill! its was a pretty good movie. I thought it would really really suck but it turned out not to bad other then the young man going after an older women it was pretty clean.
I really enjoyed. It was funny and evryone in the family could see it. It also was well done because it stuff that that the mom did not want to do because she did not want to play gitar. And then the daugter did not want to kiss her "husben".
Right today I feel kinda blank hence the title, soon I am meant to be going down town because I need to get my mum some slippers!!! Yesterday I went to Watford and got nothing (althought one person got some socks:D ). After that I went to lovepuff land (lucys house) for like 10 minutes and then went home. Then I completed final fantasy 9 YAY. That night we went to the cinema to see freaky friday and it weren't too bad. It had Lindsay Lohan in it:p . Oh and today my computer decided to delete microsoft word for no reason and it only took me about half a year to get it:mad:
Finally watched this, after having it sit around my house since Tuesday when it came out. I have to say: there's absolutely nothing annoying, offensive, childish or cloying about this Disney tweener flick, despite the fact that I admit I watched the first five or so minutes with one eye closed just in case it was unbearable.

Jamie Lee Curtis has the natural humor and oblivious lack of self-consciousness that transports this kind of movie from after-school special to box office success. It was true of Ellen DeGeneres as Dory in FINDING NEMO, too - a comedic actress has to be willing to make fun of herself and fall without a net. Lindsay Lohan has oodles of confidence and a strong presence, although she faltered a few times portraying her mother in her body. Even so, it wasn't enough to take me out of the story.

My one minor complaint, watching the film, was that a doctor would allow her teenage daughter to be alone with her psychiatric patients - clearly impossible. However, it's not like switching bodies after reading a fortune cookie is more likely, so it's all relative.

I laughed out loud more than once at this one and was a little sorry to see it end. Disney managed to put out a good remake with this one.
Viewed 12/22/03 (DVD) (Third Viewing)

Third viewing, and I still think it's one of the best of the year. It's tough to choose, but I think I'd give Jamie Lee Curtis the Golden Globe over Scarlett Johansson's beautifully textured performance in Lost in Translation simply because it's so brilliantly executed, and maintains a level of physical comedy that I've rarely seen beaten.

What can I say? I freakin' love Freaky Friday, and it's still in my top five for the year. Several may have it beat on terms of artistry, but I don't know if there's been another film I've loved as much as I have this one.

I rented Freaky Friday over the weekend and I was surprised how good it was. One the funniest movies I have seen in a long time. Jamie Lee Cutis was funny playing a teenager and Lindsay Lohan was very good playing a grown - up. The story as followed: mother and daughter don't get along. A Chinese lady puts a spell on them, they switch bodies. For one day they go live in each others place. They have to find out the spell before Saturday before the wedding. Along the way, when they are living one anothers lives, there are some true laugh-out-loud scenes. This movie is well-acted and I wouldn't mind watching it again

Honestly, I was expecting to be majorly disappointed by this film, but I was rather pleasantly surprised. I laughed a few times and the performances weren't half bad.
