I don't know... I guess the movie was kind of funny but I couldn't stop thinking about how much of a rip off of Road Trip this was. In comparison the characters were far less memorable and the story was much more boring. I can't say it was a horrible movie but if you're looking for a good comedy to rent about teens traveling around while having weird shit happen to them then stay far away from this and go with the much funnier Road Trip. I hate bad rip offs. Thats all... good bye.
Don't say I didn't warn you but don't bother watching this one, the only reason why I did was because it was free.

Starring: Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Lucy Lawless.
Directed by Jeff Schaffer.
Written by Alec Berg, David Mandel, and Jeff Schaffer.
Rated R (for sexuality, nudity, language and drug/alcohol content).
Running time approximately 1 hour 31 minutes.

I recently realized how not fun it is to prove yourself right. I keep telling myself that I should keep giving comedies that look very obviously awful a try. Well, I gave that try to Eurotrip, and not only was it awful, but it was far worse than I'd ever thought it would be. This is like a low-rent, cheaper and less funny version of Road Trip, and that's not even a film worth watching! Ridiculous, Hollywood bullshit, if you ask me. * (out of ****) D

Utterly pointless...complete waste.

Take the classic movie National Lampoon's European Vacation, and more modern comedy, Road Trip, and stick 'em together....You get Eurotrip.
The producer's of Road Trip and Old School get together again, and make another great film. This movie is loaded with so much intense profanity, drinking, drugs, and much is just fun, plain and simple.
But, if this type of stuff offends you, then this is probably not the movie for you. Go check out the Sound of Music, or something.
But, for those of you who want a side-splitting comedy, buy or rent this movie NOW!!!!!!
Surprisingly funny.
Here we go again. Don't crap your pants. I know it has been ages since my last entry. Don't expect great reviews of some of these films, because some of them I watched so long ago, that I can't even remember why I rated it how I did.

1. K-PAX- I remember some of this film. It has been forever since I saw it. I rated it 7 because, well, I don't really remember why. But I gave it a 7, I know that. I would definitely not tell anyone not to watch it, let's put it that way.

2. Timeline- For some reason, I don't really remember anything about this movie, but I do know that I gave it a 7 as well. Watch it and let me know what you think.

3. Eurotrip- Alright, now this one I have seen more than once. Can you say, "frikin hillarious"? One of my favorite parts (other than the chic) is when the skinny blonde headed dorky looking guy goes to like a whore house or whatever it is, and goes to the back room, and they give him a safe word to use. Then the guys come out there and just basically torture him. He tries so hard to say the safe word, but can't because it's in German. If you have seen the movie, then you know what I'm talking about.

4. The Crow 3- Alright, this one wasn't too bad. But was very lacking. It is not very believable (of course). But from what I hear, it does not really compare to the first crow movie (which i have never seen).

5. Lonesome Dove- This was in like year 1990. It was a made for T.V. movie series or something like that. You know, kind of like "Into the West". If you havn't seen Lonesome Dove, then go get it. It is a great western story. It stars Robert Duvall and what's his name, the one who was in Men in Black, not Will Smith of course, but his parter. Well, watch it, it's a 10 in my book.

So thats it for now. I'll rate some more later.

Bye Bye,
If you did not like this the first time around, a second try might change your mind. PS- Don't tell Scotty!

Eurotrip (2004)

Another teen movie... Like all teen comedies (with the exception of American Pie) they're usually funny but stupid. Like all most other teen comedies it made me laugh but it still wasn't a good movie. I didn't dislike this movie but teen comedies are rarely my genre.
Where: DVD
Genres: Comedies, Comedy, Theatrical Release, Comedy (General)

One line review: Suprisingly not crappy.

I'd initially discounted this film as more stupid teenage trash that wasn't worth looking at twice, but a friend convinced me otherwise so I decided to give it a try. While I don't think it is that memorable in the long run, it still had some very good bits (such as the cameo by Matt Damon) not to mention more T 'n A than you can shake a.. uh.. stick at. Ok, mostly T. But still a movie that any teenage boy or near-30 male who still has the mind of a teenage boy can enjoy.

The plot is hokey at best, but it still works even though it really offers nothing original. I still think the funniest thing about it is that the DVD extras offer the bootleg version in all its glory. I've never quite understood anyone who could make themselves sit through one of those badly done handicam rip-offs and neither did the filmmakers so they decided to offer both so that the viewer could compare.
