Okay, I'm confused. I absolutely LOVE this movie. I do. But the versions I'm seeing here are totally different from what I have on disk... The sequence of events sin't the same. Anybody else having this particular revelation?
The Wachoswkis have only gone downhill since The Matrix. It baffles me how people can give this a 10/10. Do you guys know what 10/10 means? It essentially means it's perfect and it is very far from it. I wouldn't even give The Matrix 10/10 but different strokes for different folks I suppose. The CGI is really all it has going for it.
Hmm ... Not quite sure what to think. I never really could connect with the characters except maybe one; sort of. Yet I love this kind of many layered films. Photography is gorgeous and production values in general top notch OFC considering who's directing this. I hate it it didn't work for me as clearly this is a great piece of cinema.
I won't down vote it on the basis I failed to connect - shame :/
I thought that this was a beautiful movie on so many levels, the stories were all so different from the standard format that almost all movies are made with now.I love it when we get something totally different from what the norm is.The Wachoswkis did it again. 10/10

I had avoided it when it came out originally based on the backlash from most reviews I read or what I had been told by friends. You would think I would have realized years ago that my tastes don't really match up well with the masses when it comes to movies.

I would have to say that my favorite story line was definitely Sonmi's,although I did really enjoy thecomedy in the Cavendish story line as well.
Outstanding. The Wachowskis never fail to please
Love this movie. the concept and philosophies. From beginning to end. 10/10
I really enjoyed this one. This is just my type of movie. There are lots of moving parts so you have to follow with an open mind but don't give up. Better than the typical flick where you know the whole story before the ending.
it took guts to make a movie like this, i applaud those that were involved with the film. you dont get original narratives like this often, and judging from how well the film did, we aren't likely to see many more in the future.

i enjoyed it immensely though it took some weird turns that left me wondering if stanley kubrick directed one tenth of the film. outside of that i thought it was compelling and certainly interesting enough to warrant a re-watch.

those that dont have an appreciation for an original film in an industry that rehashes old ideas ad nauseum wont be interested in a film like this. for people like myself, that have seen almost everything under the sun, it's refreshing to see the industry can still surprise me.
@Resticon Re: "head spinning for days." That really wasn't my experience. In fact it was a bit of a let down. The individual stories were interesting enough and not overly difficult to follow, but if you come into this thinking you're going to discover some grand intellectual revelation in how they tie together, you'll leave underwhelmed.
Wow, 23 minutes in stopped, one or the worst movies I've seen. Total waste of 23 minutes.
