Movie trailer

Good film. More depth to it than your average sword and sandals movie, and it doesn't shy away from the real nasty stuff. 7.5/10
Nice trip to scenic 14th century plague infested England with a little Steven King-ish village full of nice people and another group of nice people doing nice things in the name of Christianity. Seriously if you like Flesh and Blood by Verhoeven you will enjoy this film too and vice versa. It IS a good film and has sufficient rawness to make the setting believable. That rawness condemned it out of mainstream obviously, but the overall quality of this film cannot be denied. Nice to see Sean Bean swing a sword again - he looks rather splendid in a hauberk.
come on ned stark.....
not as good as i expected 4/10
the beginning of the movie might appear to be slow, but soon enough it start getting more and more interesting with a lot of twists in the story, pretty good 7/10.
I thought this movie was just OK....5/10
I am confused on why someone would comment on monks with British accents in a movie set in England?
If you haven't seen it, you'll love it!
It's hard to put something like this one into words. A nicely paced film set during the middle ages, during the time of the black plague, and during a time when Monarchs all across Europe bowed to the whims of the Vatican. When a monk is charged with investigating a possible outbreak of the plague in a heathen village, what we get is a great glimpse into the perceptions of good and evil, and how it effects people from different backgrounds and philosophical stand points.
