Baby's Day Out 1994

Baby Bink couldn't ask for more; he has adoring (if somewhat sickly-sweet) parents, he lives in a huge mansion, and he's just about to appear in the social pages of the paper. Unfortunately...

I can tolerate it. I still thought it was pretty funny the 85th time I saw it.
a nice little movie. but you need a lot of imagination to enjoy it. fun for the family..at least.
JUVENILE SLAPSTICK, A SORT OF BABY VERSION OF "HOME ALONE". AS STUPID AS IT IS, THERE ARE A FEW CHUCKLES IN THIS ONE. PREDICTABLE, HARMLESS FUN.
Baby's Day Out: 2/10

A wonderfully refreshing, witty, comical and even spiritually uplifting family movie! Those who have panned this film obviously don't have a real clue about this genre of film making. These people simply cannot see beyond the surface entertainment value of any movie; unless it titillates their vulgar senses in some way they go away unfulfilled. So sad, really.

But for those who can enjoy the subtle symbolism of a carefully and well crafted story, Baby's Day Out is a delightful commentary on life and what we can choose to see (or not to see) during our adventures to this earthly sphere.

"Unless you become as a child," the Master taught, "You can in nowise inherit the kingdom of heaven." And there is far more power in seeing this life through the eyes of a child than one might guess.

This is a movie you can watch with your children, your grandchildren and the whole family. It will delight you, and leave you with an unexpected feeling of joy and an enhanced belief in yourself and the basic goodness inherent in this world you hadn't previously guessed.

Baby's Day Out (1994)

Despite a slow beginning and being very predictable, Baby's Day Out has laughs from 'til the end thanks to more brilliant writing by John Hughes and the hilarious performances by Mantegna and Patiliano.
Baby's day out.
DIDN'T LIKE THIS MOVIE MUCH. I GIVE BABY'S DAY OUT ** 1/2.
This film may be way too predictable and has a lame idea. However, this film never falls short of entertainment from begginning to ending. The comedy is strictly suitable for kids though. However, this film can definitely be enjoyed by the whole family if not too much is expected. The emotion is mediocre. Overall, this film just manages to be fresh mainly becuase of its entertainment but can improve a great deal.
You may call it predictable, cheap and formulaic, but the thruth is "Baby's day out" delivers. The film is actually quite funny and three Little Italy actors do their job well at this movie. The result a highly fun, just above mediocre, non-frivoulous film, dedicated to entertain.
Wow,lame idea but funny.
People overlook most of John Hughes great films, including this one.
The story of a baby been robed from home, its kinda lame, but if you have the right ingredients to make it, the good cast, a good director, and awesome jokes, you'll have your own classic comedy.

The script might be kinda dumb and predictable but it is quite fun for a young audience.

Score: 6.2/10
lame cash in for john hughes who had a mega hit with the home alone films. sadly this film plays out like that series without the success.
the film goes for more of the same formula without the heart which made home alone such a success being yet another clone saw this film nose dive across the box office.
poorly written with no substance this silly comedy goes along without any sense of fun. this film has been done before with alot more style and class
