thanks for telling me
Such a cute movie....I have a hard time understanding why anyone would not like it! I am ten minutes into it and it is funnier then the first!
can someone upload a link that works and flicker if u see the message plz upload a link that works plz and thank you
Man, I'm sorry, but when I saw those female chipmunks singing "Single Ladies" I about lost my goddamn mind. I like to give movies a chance but this one is doomed to fail... when the trailer alone infuriates me, that is a very very very VERY bad sign.
And shame on the cast and crew for being a part of this film. Working on and starring in a shitty original is fine, how were they supposed to know, but when you sign on to the sequel, you're a greedy Hollywood menace.
This movie is lots of fun with pacing that will keep any child entertain. The songs are a nice mix of new and old and the chippettes are a welcome addition to help entertain and bring in the younger female audience. The animation was really nice and easy to read despite the size of the chipmunks in a few scenes. They will definately generate laughs and maybe draw a few tears. There is nothing new being done with the script but is still presented in a nice way making it feel relatively different and will make it hard to be bored. Overall Alvin and his brothers are highly entertaining to watch with it's light hearted fun that shows how trust can be broken and the bond between family is what matters most.
It was funnier than the first one.
I feel bad for professional reviewers when movies like this come out. No, I'm not being sarcastic.

The original Alvin and the Chipmunks chugged it's way to a final rating of 27% yet every kid I know loved it and a disturbing number of adults bought the soundtrack.

It made buckets of cash and that's my point. This one will no doubt do the same thing but it's not the job of a professional reviewer to consider the success of a movie as much as it is to review it's merits as a film. So they kind of have to be honest when rating a movie such as this.

Sadly, I'll be there on opening day because I have a kid that really wants to see it. More sadly I'll most likely find myself tapping to the musical numbers even as I'm fashioning a weapon out of my straw and mini-M&M's tube so I can kill myself.
I know David Cross doesn't mind people criticizing him for being in these films but "haha, David Cross is in corporate produced dreck for a paycheck, haha".
A breath taking artwork of digital mastery should inspire and leave you with a 'furry' feeling! (read moar)

Great fucking movie if you ask me. Nothing short of acting their way out of Richard Gere's ass, this movie makes me so fucking pumped for another squeakquel.

Edit: spelled sequel wrong, fap fap fap fap..
