I love Jim Carey, so I loved this movie.
Ian McNiece is good, though
(1995) dir: Steve Oedekerk

A lame-brained sequel made just to ride on the coattails of the first one's success. A few decent laughs and a good comedic perf from Carrey.
More ridiculous and strange than the original, but its missing any kind of laughs.

funny film. but after the end, you can't remember the best part. so maybe it is a good film...but i won't admit it.

It was nice to be able to sit down and relaxe and watch movies. Thats what I did after band practice last night. Came home and sat around with my friends and watched a pile of movies and it was alot of fun. Kinda of a nice variety too.

If I get time later on today, I'm going to try and do up reviews for the films that I haven't reviewed yet. If you'd like to read my review about Sasquatch its allready in the journal. The others I haven't reviewed yet.

So I'm supposed to go and do the vocals on one of the new tracks we recorded today and I have a birthday party to go to this afternoon. After I'm all done with that then I'll probably come home and chill out and maybe watch a couple more flicks. Don't know yet for sure though. We'll see. I still have to get an antenna though so I can sit down and watch my Patriots kick some booty this season.
Jim Carrey
There's two parts that stand out to me in this film. Of course the who bat guano schitck is gold and the whole Pet Detective thing but to me two parts make this film. The part where Ace gets stuck inside the mechanical rhino and has to crawl out the rhino's butt and the showdown with the crazy lil midget dude. To me, those two are the funniest scenes in this film. In some ways I think this sequel is better than the original. In this sequel we already know who Ace is and we can just kinda go along for the ride, forget about the background story about who Ace is, we get all that in the original. I highly recommend Ace Ventura When Nature Calls to anyone who hasn't seen it and for those who have, check it out again!!
