Lately Solarmovie has been plagued by the epidemic of people spoiling episodes / movies on the review comment page and I feel this needs to be addressed, please be aware that this is against the [https://www.solarmovie.is/rule...] and such activity will warrant a mute / ban depending on the severity of the spoiler! It does not matter even if you place SPOILER at the top of your review to warn people, it is forbidden and against the rules. A warning will only be Issued ONCE, if you continue to spoil a Mute / Ban could be enforced. Some small talk is ok, but mostly it is for reviews only, if you wish to talk about episodes / movies please take it to the forum, as such talk is not prohibited there..
If you would like to know what constitutes as a Spoiler, See Below:
Thank you for understanding... SparkyKarl.
Please add links to TV SHOWS via TV SHOWS FORM not MOVIE FORM.
And fill ALL fields which are there with VALID data.
Those who fail to understand this simple requirement will be punished. Linkers will be demoted then banned, non-likers will be banned right away.
PS. those who do not receive notifications for new movies and episodes and see some movies "broken" or episodes missing can thank those beautiful uploaders that cannot fill forms properly.
Hello fellow Solarians,
Few weeks ago we warned our users about a mandatory login change and today it happened. All login names were changed and if you are unable to login - you can check your new name [http://www.solarmovie.so/new-n...].
We also got a new feature for you. We added a reply feature, so from now on if you click on reply, the message that you're replying to and the nickname of the recipient will be quoted in your message.
And of course we nailed some nasty bugs.
I think as far as war movies go, this one is in a class all by itself. Many scenes I had to watch between two fingers! Extraordinary and awe inspiring, in spite of the out of sync a/v and Scottish(?) accents...9/10
Nah, it's right.
In this case, take two opposing ideas on how to manage trolls both coming from a space of good intentions.
It refers to how IF speaking about it were to cause harm or incite more trolling, then the intention to get a grasp on the situation to better handle it may cause more harm than good.
It refers to how an attempt to silence the community in an effort to manage the situation may actually create divisiveness, paranoia and inhibition, thereby causing more harm than good.
I think the saying asks us to question our actions, even IF well-intended.
There's a gene which is responsible for a high incidence of Sickle-cell anemia in African Americans. We know how to manipulate it to stop the disease from manifesting.
However, the population of Africa is far greater than African Americans, and it ends up that same exact gene, protects Africans from malaria.
So, if manipulating the gene is based on what is good for Americans, the path seems clear, but if the unintended consequences threaten the millions in Africa...???
@oldshuntr. Do you have any suggestions? If I had the right partner I definitely would NOT be sitting here watching movies and shows all night on my computer. Ha ha ha!
Yes, this show is not for the faint of heart, it really draws you in, makes you love the characters and then puts you through the wringer!
@Wulfstrahd - I know right? I kept thinking the same thing... row! row! row! !!!
@fylhuic - Yes! And I had to look up the particular poem they both quoted as it was dolorous and spoke to all of us who feel like outcasts, from time to time.
It is called "I Am!"
I loved these lines in particular:
"I am the self-consumer of my woes"
"Untroubling and untroubled where I lie. The grass below—above the vaulted sky"
(and hence the name of the episode).
Now I want to read more!
