Lately Solarmovie has been plagued by the epidemic of people spoiling episodes / movies on the review comment page and I feel this needs to be addressed, please be aware that this is against the [https://www.solarmovie.is/rule...] and such activity will warrant a mute / ban depending on the severity of the spoiler! It does not matter even if you place SPOILER at the top of your review to warn people, it is forbidden and against the rules. A warning will only be Issued ONCE, if you continue to spoil a Mute / Ban could be enforced. Some small talk is ok, but mostly it is for reviews only, if you wish to talk about episodes / movies please take it to the forum, as such talk is not prohibited there.
Thank you for understanding... SparkyKarl.

And of course we nailed some nasty bugs.
Spoof movies can be funny if they do it sarcastically, but none of them ever do. They take it too far, throw the "jokes" in your face and go for the shock factor, which is why no one over 13 enjoys them. I remember in A Haunted House when it shows the Mexican maid getting her floors waxed on the kitchen table. Why did they feel they needed that in the movie? I can't believe I'm actually considering watching this. The premise sounds so stupid, that if they actually do a Taken movie and keep the suspense and drama in it, this might be amazing. It also has Ethan Suplee. But I'm not holding my breath.
I guess I should connect a few more dots there. Sexism and racism share the fundamental core of hatred and fear of differences and a need to view things in a hierarchical and objectified manner. Simply put, the OP wishes to treat men in a sexist manner, which does them harm... it's injustice. Racism is exactly the same thing. Blindness to individuality, unrealistic expectations and assumptions, bad treatment of others. At best, the OP is insensitive to the uniqueness of testosterone levels - to her, "all men are the same and are good for one thing."
Just wow. I was having a hard time understanding as to why the 2nd season isn't here yet when it says its coming on April and yet its already May. The moment i realized that it's April 2000 mother of god 16 .. I almost kicked myself for this stupidity of mine.. -_-
First, THANK YOU FOR LINKS!
Ok, I am not sure how I feel about this. I mean, for a remake, this was almost parallel to the original movie. The original is kind of a timeless classic and here, they just modernized it with CGI and such, but seriously, the events were all the same. Scene by scene, it was basically the same exact movie. I was surprised they didn't bring in anything really original to the scares.
For what it was, it was actually pretty well done I'd say. Unfortunately, I am having trouble saying I liked it because it was almost scene for scene identical to the original. I guess I don't know what I was expecting for a remake, but I just had imagined a remake would go further than "Now everyone has GPS on them in the house and let's fly a drone in the portal!" It didn't really bring anything new to the table I'd say.
I can't remember if I reviewed this one for you all yet or not, finally had a chance to sit down and watch it from start to finish. Not only is it a beautiful story about hope, it's so relevant to the current situations within our world now that you can't help but be impressed by the writer's message within this story. I rarely give out super fantastic reviews but this one has earned it. 10 out of 10 for creativity, great use of science fiction and spreading hope.
forgotten how good that movie is for it's time. Too bad they didn't make some kind of sequel for it.
Plot is really thin, no background to speak of, but a decent action flick none the less. I hope any who watch it enjoy it. 7/10 . the audio isn't good though. Fluctuates ALOT, but the video quality is good.
I saw it years ago and just again recently... still love it. I've never seen the graphic novels, I happen to watch this movie at my friends house on some random movie night, he didn't know what he was picking up, but we all loved it. Yes it's not your multi-million dollar, big budget, block buster, but sometimes movies like that try to hard to be something big, and falls flat on it's face. Case in point: Matrix 2, yeah, I said it! Matrix 2! Don't get me wrong, I loved pt1 and over all the whole deal, but... the projects basketball court fight scene, *pukes*, *PUKES*, *PUKES!!!*. Oh God, my stomach, can't take, any, more of that, that, malarkey. When I saw that fight scene in Matrix 2, I went from enjoying the Matrix world, to feeling like I was watching a cut scene from a console game. And the longer it went on I was like, "They really want me to swallow this horses--t that looks like a video-game after part 1 looked seamlessly so much better?!?" I don't mean to say this to piss people off, but the more I watched that fight scene and the longer it went on, the more I actually started to feel embarrassed, honestly. You know what I mean! We've ALL been there at some point of watching a particular movie, if not looking around to see if anybody around us is having the same reaction (if we're in the theater) to make sure WE'RE not crazy for being appalled.
Anyway, what I mean to say is that this movie didn't go out of it's way to try to be something more than what it was, like I said about another movie, 'sometimes less is more'. I'll even admit that there were parts in this movie that I couldn't tell if it was real or green screen, whether it's a person (yes a couple times I was thrown off), a background, or a simple object. And I'm man enough to say that the little guy in the bathroom, the one that handed her something when she needed it, was cute, there, I said it.
Now everyone has there own opinion, some people might say, "This movie blows!" or, "This ain't no Avengers", in which case, to each their own. Me I give it a 9/10.
