Lately Solarmovie has been plagued by the epidemic of people spoiling episodes / movies on the review comment page and I feel this needs to be addressed, please be aware that this is against the [https://www.solarmovie.is/rule...] and such activity will warrant a mute / ban depending on the severity of the spoiler! It does not matter even if you place SPOILER at the top of your review to warn people, it is forbidden and against the rules. A warning will only be Issued ONCE, if you continue to spoil a Mute / Ban could be enforced. Some small talk is ok, but mostly it is for reviews only, if you wish to talk about episodes / movies please take it to the forum, as such talk is not prohibited there.
Thank you for understanding... SparkyKarl.
Please add links to TV SHOWS via TV SHOWS FORM not MOVIE FORM.
And fill ALL fields which are there with VALID data.
Those who fail to understand this simple requirement will be punished. Linkers will be demoted then banned, non-likers will be banned right away.
PS. those who do not receive notifications for new movies and episodes and see some movies "broken" or episodes missing can thank those beautiful uploaders that cannot fill forms properly.
Hello fellow Solarians,
Few weeks ago we warned our users about a mandatory login change and today it happened. All login names were changed and if you are unable to login - you can check your new name [http://www.solarmovie.so/new-n...].
We also got a new feature for you. We added a reply feature, so from now on if you click on reply, the message that you're replying to and the nickname of the recipient will be quoted in your message.
And of course we nailed some nasty bugs.
I think a lot of you do not understand the OP and the title of the thread. It was sarcasm. They were saying if you leave a comment that you feel is an honest opinion you get chastised for it. So the op was saying honesty is not accepted here.
Unfortunately, that's a naive and simplistic view. You can have an honest opinion, but it's an opinion and some people will certainly disagree, regardless of how honest you thought it may have been.
You must accept the fact that putting some opinion out there in public means it will receive some critical thinking and be replied to in some opposing manner. Here, that can be downvotes, removal of the comment, or simple negative replies. Stating an opinion, no matter how "honest" you think it may be, also comes with the criticism it may receive. Either accept that condition of community life or don't comment.
Does the criticism matter? As I said earlier, nope. It only matters if validation of your opinion is important to you. So taking the time to complain about it is a waste of effort. The problem is with the complainer; not the criticism or the communities norms for allowing criticism.
I loved the first two HC films. This one just did not land for me. This is not a horror movie. Its a comedy where Tom Six is attempting to use the first 2 movies as satirical fodder and transition the trilogy into a political statement by holding a mirror to US politicks. This is achieved by overacting and sense are supposed to be repulsive but are really just kinda lame. All the things that make up a good film are there but the ideas are not properly utilized. It fails to make you squirm or laugh. With this kind of over the top acting, they should have filed more like the parody that it is meant to be. It would have actually been better if it were filmed more like a sketch comedy with a laugh track, to drive home its point and keep people entertained. This movie is neither interesting or thought-provoking and ultimately seems like a failed effort from a desperate director at the end of his game.
Please DO NOT add DVD, only LQDVD is available at the moment, Also check your link has Subtitles because there is a LARGE part that is not in English without Subtitles.. DO NOT add this movie. Any body that adds these movies and labels it DVD after this warning, BANS will start to be handed out...
Actually Akira Toriyama had nothing to do with the story or direction. It's not even based on the manga . The drop in quality was because of his lack of involvement.
I remember reading this article forever ago where Toriyama actually wanted to end the series with the Cell Saga, but was pushed into the Boo/Buu Saga because of the show.
You really think Battle of the Gods was worse that BIO-BROLY?
Also, if you guys read manga still, I'd recommend One Punch Man. They pay homage to the DBZ era and the whole thing is just hilarious.
