Not a bad movie but Mark Wahlberg and horror/thriller movies is an awkward fit still worth a watch.
pretty good movie..
I like pretty much M.Night makes. I guess i maybe the odd ball . I like this movie
Horrible movie
I think I'm having a bad night. Maybe I should switch to thrillers...
Liked it! 8/10
I thought it had an interesting concept. Decent film.
Although many critics are giving "The Happening" a terrible, and horrible rap, I must say that if you are fan of Night's work it is certainly worth the ten dollars.
Although the Happening lacks what was seen in the Sixth Sense of a powerful twist leaving audiences speechless, the movie does still provide a "new" outlook on certain problems concerning the human race, and the star performance of Mark Wahlberg is quite good.
All in all, I would say that this was a good movie, and viewers should see for themselves instead of listening to often dillusional critics.
The Happening makes Lady in the Water look like Shakespeare. I enjoyed the commentary from my fellow watchers as they commented on Mark Wahlberg's static acting to Really, the tress and grass are to blame. M. Night might be trying to make a Rated R horror flick but ended up with a Green propaganda movie- re: over population, pollution, etc. I was waiting for Ed Bagley Jr. to make an appearance at the end and ask for donations. Remember- speak nice to your plants or else- think riding lawn mower for those who have not seen the movie yet
