pretty good movie..
I like pretty much M.Night makes. I guess i maybe the odd ball . I like this movie
Horrible movie
I think I'm having a bad night. Maybe I should switch to thrillers...
I've been watching this to the Filbert, PA stage so I don't know the's my take so far:
Generally not fond of the star of the "New Girl" series on tv --she seems a little vacant or disconnected in this work (as always) to me. Not believable. I can't put my finger on it, but there's something about her that puts me off. don't know why...but it does. Be that as it may,
I don't know which of the names above identifies the actor playing Wahlberg's curly-headed best friend in this, but he was the one who struck me as the worst casting mistake. He has so stretched out and overplayed his lines (so far) that it was distracting, confusing and annoying from the start. I've seen him before and don't recall him being this bad an actor, ...but...direction is everything maybe, I dunno. it was almost as if he was trying to make his part the lead instead of supporting. Overdone.
Wahlberg seems to be fairly effective in his delivery, but the storyline itself seems weak.
So, now I'm going back to Filbert to see how this thing plays out.
Liked it! 8/10
terrible movie, really only watched it because mark wahlberg was in it...made me laugh a few times though.
I thought it had an interesting concept. Decent film.
Although many critics are giving "The Happening" a terrible, and horrible rap, I must say that if you are fan of Night's work it is certainly worth the ten dollars.
Although the Happening lacks what was seen in the Sixth Sense of a powerful twist leaving audiences speechless, the movie does still provide a "new" outlook on certain problems concerning the human race, and the star performance of Mark Wahlberg is quite good.
All in all, I would say that this was a good movie, and viewers should see for themselves instead of listening to often dillusional critics.
