Still my favorite out of the series.
This must be my 5th or 6th (maybe more :/) time watching it. Growing up, this has been one of my favorite movie franchises. My older brother has also always loved these movies along with other car related shows/anime.

I'm planning on going through the whole series since some newer ones have came out.
Though it certainly had its bad moments, I personally love this movie, and think it kicks some serious *ss. I've watched it at least a dozen times, and I still enjoy the highspeed atmosphere and hot cars. Vin Diesel is the best actor in there, and the best character, but the movie wouldn't be possible without his co-stars either.
I've seen this movie about 25 times and will continue to watch it the next time it is on tv. You'll like this movie if you love fast cars and attractive women with a spice of action. No real comedy in the film but some suspense and explosions. Even though it came out in 2001, I feel that it was a late 90's classic.
A fun, fast energetic movie that entertains me enough to get through it all.
With pretty nice cars, hot girls and some(no scatch that alot) sex references this movie still has somthing to offer: a nice car shase in the end. To gangsta for me.
American Outlaws - The story of Jesse James by way of MTV = American Outlaws. A terrible script, ridiculous dialogue and lame "partial nudity" have never been so yawn-worthy. Farrell is an actor I like and appreciate, but this was an early bomb. * (out of ****) D

Face/Off - John Woo and I have gotten along twice - we got along just fine with his Mission: Impossible II, and with this highly imaginative and gloriously stylized action epic. Travolta and Cage literally play each other in a thrilling actioner with a premise so ludicrous it makes for some fanastically frenetic entertainment. ***1/2 (out of ****) A-

The Fast and the Furious - I'm so sick of half-naked people spouting mean one-liners to one another in a cliched story that takes forveer to get where everyone in the audience knows it's going. Blech. *1/2 (out of ****) D+

Super Mario Bros. - Roland Joffe may have been responsible for the 1995 Demi Moore's boobs-fueled adaptation of Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter and the sadistic Captivity, but never have I been more disappointed with him as I was when I saw Super Mario Bros. at the fresh young age of however old I was in 1993. What an absolute mess! Boring, ridiculous and unfunny. 1/2* (out of ****) D-

Texas Rangers - Let's cast teenyboppers in a Western. Yay. You fail. 1/2* (out of ****) D-
Great movie with great action, and good acting. Vin Desil did a great job at acting
Never been much of a fan of racing movie. It has a very boring plot that gets interesting at the very last minutes of the movie. The acting was all together terrible. Michelle Rodrigez constantly looks angry no matter what. I hate Vin Diesel, to me one of the worst actors of all time. The story was stupid, A group of Honda Civics are hijacking a Semi-truck and taking their contents. Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) is working undercover under the name, Brian Earl Spilner, trying to find out who is responsible for these semi-truck hijackings. He tries to get in with a group of people led by Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel). During Race Wars, Toretto's friend Jesse races his Jetta against Johnny Tran's S2000 for pink slips and loses. In a state of panic, he drives away from the race. During the night, Toretto and the rest of the clan drive out. Toretto pulls out the Honda Civics to make one last truck jacking. When Jesse comes back, Johnny Tran and his cousin show up to pull off a drive-by, killing Jesse in the process. Brian and Dominic drive out to go after them. As a train approaches, both cars manage to speed up and pass the tracks as the train barrels down on them. Dominic is then sideswiped by an unexpected truck and his car flips over. Brian then goes to check on Dominic. Suddenly, they notice that the cops are coming. Knowing Dominic will be arrested when they arrive, Brian gives his keys to Dominic, saying, "I owe you a ten-second car." Brian then allows Dominic to escape. I did not include everything because it would take up to much space. To me the plot is a little flimsy. The races themselves are actually not to bad. To me this is one of Vin Diesels only good movies that I have seen.

the story is a rip off of point break and this film never comes close to that movie. this had alot of potential but in the end it is just worthy for the car scenes
