Cute movie. Not as good as I remembered (the middle really drags.) But I love "Ev'rybody Wants to Be a Cat" SO much!

THE ARISTOCATS

The Aristocats is a cute Disney animation with irresistible cartoon kittens, but this film suffers from a poor storyline. Not even the cute kittens can save this film from the poor storyline. The characters are also not as memorable (and the plot not as satisfying) as other Disney films. Most of my impression of this film is from the eyes of an adult. (I wanted to but never had the opportunity to see this film when I was younger, although I probably *would have* loved it because it featured cats - instead of dogs.) Children may like it, but if you're expecting a very good storyline and terrific film, you will be disappointed. Still...those cartoon kittens *are* cute.
An awesome children's movie.
Aristocats is one of the last great Disney animated features. Besides, it's well made and the character are enjoyable and unforgettable: the aristocats, alley cats, English geese, the mouse Roquefort, Edgar (the butler), George (the lawyer), rich old lady (mistress of the aristocats), and street dogs (Napoleon and Lafayette). Idea of the good and eccentric old lady giving her fortune to the cats (instead of the butler) is unusual. How could animals afford money? But that's when the butler reveals how ambitious and villainous he is. It's a cult movie and a must-see to Disney fans, to animal lovers and to the ones who can feel the magic of Paris, the city of lights. It's a keeper which can't be missing in your Disney collection.
