Teen Witch (1989): 5/10

I thought this movie was excellent. Robin Lively and Dan Gauthier have excellent chemistry together and make a great team. The way Robin Lively portrayed misfit in school at the beginning and the most popular girl in school was wonderful. She was simply amazing in role of the girl who wanted to fit in, but found out fitting in isn't always the most important thing in high school.
Starring: Robyn Lively, Dan Gauthier, Joshua John Miller, Mandy Ingber, and Zelda Rubinstein.
Directed by Dorian Walker.
Written by Robin Menken and Vernon Zimmerman.
Rated PG-13 (for inexplicable reasons - i.e. witchcraft, heavy petting, necking, etc.).
Running time approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

"I don't really give a, about you tryin' to top that, so stop that!"

Y'all know how I love the 80s comedies, no matter how shitty they are. Teen Witch is totally predictable, totally silly and definitely totally awesome. Zelda Rubinstein is my personal hero. I don't know how the lot of you feel about her, but I find her tiny, creepy and delightful. The film was a success with me mainly because of the scene pictured above, in which two characters who are totally in love totally sing a ridiculous song to each other, and it's absolutely amazing. So there. *** (out of ****) B
Hidden Treasure of 80's delight!
Teen Witch is Cute, funny and Magical!

Louise (Robyn Lively) lives the life most Teenage girls only dream of: having it all. Sure this movie is flawed with big hair, outdated waredrobes and predictability. It remains a staple 80's favorite for most baby boomers of that decade.
