You were the Chosen One! You were supposed to destroy the Sith, not join them! Bring balance to the Force, not leave it in darkness... 8 years later and i still shed a tear on that scene , like all of the people on the cinemas cried on that one .. 9/10 .. hope Ep.7 will be good ..
My father was born in this movie ... ! I love you Anakin Skywalker ... aka *Darth Vader* =)

Best STAR WARS movie ... EVER ... !!!
This movie was well-done and somewhat well-acted. The story line was awesome! Fighting with light sabers makes it so much easier to follow the moves. The problem with fight scenes is that they only make it cool and complex if the fight is between major characters, and therefore a major fight.
Haha, Wow! Look at those old comments. Ahhh, nostalgia. Great series, good ending to to the beginning. Can't wait for Disney's new ones, they should be good since they did a fantastic job with Pixar and the Pirates series.

I love the sword-play but Jar Jar should be euthanized. 8/10

STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH
(GEORGE LUCAS, 2005)
PG-13
2 HOURS 20 MINUTES
To be fair, I think I'm not a huge Star Wars fan. Yes I'll probably watch whatever else Lucas puts out. I like the costumes and the sweeping views of space and alien cities. I even like some of the characters but for the most part I just don't feel too attached to them.

I thought whoever played young Darth was a bad actor. I never got into his whole struggle with embracing the dark side and sort of shrugged and didn't blame him when he went over. But I also didn't sympathize to the point that I felt any sense of pathos for him or Padme, or anyone really.

I think I needed more character developement and less cgi laser fights.

Padme's costume's weren't nearly as cool in this one either. And she had 70's porn star lip gloss on. She turned into a one note fretful abused woman.

I didn't even like Yoda in this one. I pretty much only liked the rtd2 and c3po.
I had high expectations when I borrowed this DVD from my friend because it was Star Wars! I love the triology! I put it in my DVD player, got some popcorn, and settled in with my boyfriend and his sister for a fantastic movie. I will start by saying I am no longer allowed to watch movies with his sister. She has forbidden me because I am, and I quote(!), a "fun sucker" and "movie ruiner".

I don't think I have ever laughed so hard watching a movie, even comedies! The writing for this movie was TERRIBLE! Outside of the Star Wars franchaise, some of them may have been decent lines, but because it was Star Wars and the timing of the half decent lines was so horrific, I nearly wet myself. The acting was pretty good, it was just the script that was terrible. The Sith Lord (since I haven't a clue how to spell his name) kept me rolling for the last half of the movie. He had to hiss and make "threatening" faces/gestures every single time he went to talk or fight. It was just freakin hilarious! The endings of some of the battles made me giggle too, esp. when Anakin's legs were cut off in mid air. The whole movie was just completely comical to me, and now I expect to be disowned as a Star Wars fan.
I've just joined Rotten Tomatoes and I thought I should start by reviewing my favorite movie. I gave it a 10 because(and anyone who is into the Star Wars mythology as much as me will agree) it was simply the most fantastic conclusion to the series anyone could have asked for. Even if you are not a fan of Star Wars this movie will not disappoint. An extra helping of drama, edge-of-your-seat action, adventure, and even some comedy promises something for almost everybody. With that being said, you really do need to see Episode 1 and 2 to understand what's going on in Revenge of The Sith. It's really great movie and everyone should see it atleast once.

Plot Outline

It has been three long years since the Clone Wars have first begun, and Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) and Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) have fought as hard as they possibly could. When the capital planet of Coruscant becomes under attack by the Separatist droid armies and Supreme Chancellor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) is kidnapped by the army leader, General Grievous (voiced by Matthew Wood), Anakin's personal problems begin to develop, including his anger at the Jedi Council for not giving him the rank of Master, though he is on the council, and his plagued visions of his secret wife, Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman), dying in childbirth. He is determined to do anything to save her, no matter the cost. While Obi-Wan is sent to kill General Grievous on Utapau, Anakin is taken under Palpatine's wing, being subtly seduced by the Dark Side of the Force and convinced that the Dark Side is power than can save his wife from death. Soon enough, a new, darker, ominous figure that would eventually be feared by the entire galaxy is formed: Darth Vader. Obi-Wan, discovering Anakin's betrayal, sees no choice but to face his own apprentice in an attempt to bring back the young, loyal Jedi that had been like his own son, brother, and friend.
