A spoof of Robin Hood in general, and 'Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves' in particular...

@stanmarsh I totally agree.. It was Dave Chappelle's first movie & it also has a great comedic performance by Care Elwes who was in another one of my all time greatest films The Princess Bride
One of the best spoof flick out there!
vidzbeez link is actually Walt Disney version
Although this movie is nothing more than a ridiculous parody it is entirely entertaining. The complete ludicriousness of the characters and plot and the effective use of satire make the entirely movie laugh out loud funny. Of course some of the humor is a bit crass the cast really pulls off the desired effect of creating a movie that all can find humorous.

Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993)

This is a very underrated Mel Brooks comedy. In fact I think it's one of Mel Brooks' best movies and one of the funnier movies of the 90s.
Robin hood is a classic, nice, romantic story that doesn't deserve such a behaviour
They completely destroyed the piece of art "the adventures of robin hood" with Errol Flynn!!!Because this is the movie that it is based that so called commedy
I do believe that such great movies such as "Adventures of R.H." deserve more respect
But you no something it was so bad that was enjoyable watching
This movie is funny as hell. It leaves you chuckling even after the movie is done. To the critics who bashed this movie: Get a life! So it's not schmaltzy Oscar winning material, big deal! Laughter is the best medicine out there, & this movie will be my favorite for years to come
To spoof the legend of Robin Hood is one thing, but to do so using a screenplay that is riddled with recycled gags is another. It's a real shame to see someone like Mel Brooks reusing jokes from his other films; surely three writers could have generated some original material.
While admittedly not Brooks' best, Robin Hood: Men in Tights is entertaining for those fans of classic Mel Brooks humor. Does not require much thought, but that may be for the best.
