Until near the end of the movie I just thought how would katie forgive her sister for not giving up part of herself.

this is a great tearjerker 9 a word i learnt from the other reviews yolo gret film but makes cameron diaz look like a horrible b1tch!

AWWWW! i was thinking for like the whole movie: "poor girl! Poor girl!"
loved it

this movie is NOTHING compared to the book.

looking forward to see it
Knowing it is a movie I nearly started laughing instead of crying. Some people could learn a lot from what was said here. It is not really an entertaining subject but it was good in its own league. Only strange that an epileptic drives a car after having had a seizure.
It was funny and comical to see how the movie tried to push and manipulate our emotional buttons and feelings like an instrument. It is a good way to see how free or dependant you really are.
unintersting boring and an ok casting my sisters kepper will be liked by some and most will fall asleep through the movie
I thought it was the most heavy-handed slo-mo piece of kiddie cancer porn I'd ever seen - but I guy I know says that's what it's actually like.
Yes, another melodramatic movie. Well, it appears to be. I was first drawn to the movie by its superb cast. The second is the heart that is felt in this story especially between Abigail Breslin and Sofia Vassilieva. Sofia Vassilieva did absolutely amazing, she saved this movie from tanking, i think. She seriously captured the brutality and horror of chronic leukemia. Abigail Breslin seemed a little harsh, or unsympathetic in her narrating, but as we all know that little up coming actress can put on a good cry, and she captivated that wonderfully. Cameron Diaz. I did not expect to see her play a role so serious with nothing to back up her performance really. I have never seen her do a serious role such as this one. But, i think she did adequately. She got the mood across, even if at some parts she seemed like an aunt, or an older sister to her daughters. Cameron Diaz did superb at the yelling scenes and crying scenes. Its just at times she seemed a little none genuine. This movie did not get great reviews, but this movie is more than just a melodramatic family with a problem, it has real heart and pain all in the right places so i "enjoyed" this movie.
