A really good movie, which I enjoyed watching. Very funny and with a little message the movie is telling. Good watch
8.5/10
This is an amazing film which is pure comedy with a great plot! Its extremely funny and its a unique film which pulls off all its jokes - not like some rom coms when the jokes just aren't funny! Theres some amazing characters in the film which all work together really well. If your into comedies or not, i reccommend that you watch this film, you'll be laughing all the way through!
The Soundtrack is awesome!! And Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris are insanely hilarious together. Even Chris Klein and Amy Smart pull off being just as awesome. Much watch! 9/10
Great movie. Super funny from start to finish.
Saw this movie last night (11/17) at a screening in Scottsdale. The overwelming reaction of most people in the theatre was that the movie is better than they expected.
I won't relate the plot, but the general story will be familiar -- nerdy high school kids, moves away, becomes a success and then tries to conquer the girl next door. The story unfolds with few twists and turns, but the physical and situational comedy is good. Ryan Reynolds does a good job with the character, that fortunately falls with within millimeters of his other characters. Amy Smart plays the girl next door and is surprisingly genuine and seems to be maturing as she ages. The smaller roles of Ryan's brother and the pop princess are done over the top and are entertaining.
If you need a simple laugh movie to get you through the holiday's, this is it.
So, I saw Just Friends for free at my university's student center. I went in expecting very little and came out more than satisfied. I thought Just Friends was hilarious. The chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and the actor who plays his brother is incredible. They're very funny together. The other actors in the movie are very talented and also well-directed. The script is funny without being goofy. It's a great movie to see with friends over the holidays.
Ok, the movie is a 8 on the comedy scale. It's not he best movie you'll see this year but it could be one of the funniest. If you like slapstick humor this movie is for you. Ryan Reynolds IS Chevy Chase (that's a complement !), and every guy that's ever been in the "friend zone" will feel his pain. Anna Farris gave another hillarious performance and steals every scene that she is in. In my opinion, she may be the best true comedic actress going. The beautiful Amy Smart gives another good performance as the object of Reynolds affection. I'd say if you're in the mood for some laughs you can't go wrong with Just Firends.
i went to see this movie not expecting much. the trailers did it no justice. i only wanted to see it because i am a big Ryan Renolds fan. and boy was i in for a suprise. this movie is laugh after laugh with a good love story mixed in. since most people are calling 40 year old virigin the comedy of the year after seeing both i think this movie is way funnier. i know its wrong but i just love seeing an adult push a little kid over by the head, and this movie has that and a bunch of other laughs. my recomendation is go and see it, i dont car who you are, this is a funny movie for all.

Just Friends was obvioulsy one of the funniest movies to come out this year. Ryan Reynolds does it again after we just saw him in Waiting. Truly one to take the girl out to see or just laugh it up with a bunch of buddies. Again, Ryan Reynolds is one of the funniest people on the face of the earth. I just think everything he has done has made me smile or laugh my ass off. He just never disappoints me at all. There are definately a load of laughs here & the cast is really great. Amy Smart & Anna Faris are perfect fit here for Ryan. Lots of great one-liners & a ton of laugh-out-loud scenes. So if you are in the mood for some holiday cheer, then I recommend you get off your ass & check out Just Friends. Hopefully, I finally get to see the new Harry Potter movie. PEACE OUT!!!
The Interpreter -- Watched this last night on my laptop. Very enjoyable. The dialogue, in particular, was excellent. I also loved how it kept you second-guessing what was going to happen next. The best scene was, without a doubt, the bus scene. Close second to the opening scene, with the brutal execution of two characters who will be very important later on.

Just Friends -- Saw this with my (potential) girlfriend about 9 hours ago and, while not as good as the Interpreter and a different movie on so many levels, I actually really liked this as well. It may be rotten according to the Tomatometer, but I thought that the comedy was pretty good. Ryan Reynolds and Anna Faris are two of the best actors in comedy today. I'm really looking forward to their other movie, 'Waiting.' The laughs in this movie were pretty consistent once you get past the pretty bad first 10 minutes and even though the ending is corny like nothing else, we get a nice little cynical 'epilogue' of sorts.
I was dreading seeing this movie. I was forced to watch it in a trade. I saw it so my friend will later go see Pride & Predjudice with me.

I missed the first 20 minutes of it, which were probably the "fat years" that I was dreading. What I did see of it was hillarious. I laughed harder than I have in a theater for a long time.

Of course, there's no gripping love story or thorough plot, but it will make you laugh!
