@Moar Scariest movie I have ever seen was way back in the early 80's. A little know hit at the time call A Nightmare on Elm Street. Granted I was like in 2nd or 3rd grade when I watched it.
@flatbedotr how were you not frightened at all!? even i was covering one of my eyes and squinting my other so i could barely see anything haha!!
@adamspun it's because it's a cliff hanger and a second one was suppose to come out which it has.. so enjoy watching the second one i haven't watched it myself yet it seems scarier.. haha
@schlammerl I'm soooo sorry, I accidentally clicked "report" instead of "reply"... T_T
I just wanted to tell you that I liked the movie just as much - and one of my friends suddenly demanded that we turn the lights back on cause she was so creeped out by the demon. =)
Again: I'm sorry I clicked "report". I'll try to move as slowly as my old mouse and wait a second before clicking something next time......
I love this film and the ending is great. It ties in nicely with second film. I give it a 10/10 I love the story line.
I watched the 2nd movie 1st..Now I understand everything...7/10
poor ending. cool film worth a watch, great use of sound etc but poor story really. worse ending ever 6/10
Watched "Insidious".I saw part 2 was coming out soon and wanted to watch the first one before I watched the second. This movie reminded me of "Poltergeist" in some respects. A family moves into a house and bad things happen when their son falls off a ladder and later goes into a coma. The usual haunted house effects begin to happen and the couple ask for help to stop all the bad things from happening. They find out it is something supernatural and try to find a way to stop it and get their comotose son back. There is some suspense and scary stuff, but nothing to bad. There is a good surprise and twist at the end to set up for a second movie. I would give this a 6 out of 10 stars.
@flatbedotr
I was not so much scared while watching it, but afterwards when I had to walk down my very dark hallway to the bathroom, I felt a tinge of fear, lol.
Got to love how horror movies aren't scary at all any more. Did get goosebumps a couple times early in the movie but that was the extent of the scariness. As for the actual movie I thought it was pretty good.
