There is nothing wrong with this movie...never trust Anonymous remarks...
well, there's not too much to say about this movie. i finally watched it after it being out for quite a while now. it wasn't really bad, but it wasn't really good either. it's an alright horror flick, not a complete waste of time. i did really like the opening scene on the boat with everyone getting sliced in peices. but nothing else really stood out all that much.
Terrible, Awful movie. The plot is stupid, the acting is bad, there are many loopholes in the plot, this movie isn't scary and its just non-sense. Theres quite a bit of violence, but its not needed. Please save your self money and dont watch this movie.
this one was better than i expected but still nothing to write home about. did a good job of creating a decently creepy ship atmosphere. the cast was overdone though, too many characters. the special effects stuck out badly.

Pros: the lady in the red dress. cool ship

Cons: Gabriel Byrne, sketchy plot

OK so if you take away the bad acting, the stupid story, and the lack of anything scary then you got a good film here; too bad for this movie that was its whole film. With the amazing ability to never achieve anything other than make you go "huh" this film is a amazingly bad film. The movie does manage to gross you out by using lots of scenes involving obviously fake/cg blood. The acting in this movie is bad, though better than some "scary" movies this one never seems to get any better. The story is very weak with almost everyone just dying and a plot twist that is so obvious that it can be seen a mile away. I recommend avoiding this film at all costs in fact just dont even think about it, erase it from your mind.
Didn't like it.

This was an awesome movie... for the first five mintues. Everything after that was really crappy. The characters are dumb, and uninteresting and quite frankly the plot didn't make that much sense. Out of this weak and scareless 91 minute movie there's only about 20 mintues of it that's even watchable. The best part of the entire film comes at the very beginning when all the people on the dance floor of the ship got cut to pieces. The rest of it is pretty much downhill from there.

Ghost Ship (2002)

Ghost Ship really had promise. It was at least interesting but it was also very disappointing. I didn't care for the ending and the movie wasn't very scary. At times it was a little boring. Some people love it and some people just hate it so it might at least be worth a look. I just thought it was average as a horror movie although the opening scene on the ship at the party is one of the coolest scenes ever.
Starts out with a big bloody bang and then ends with ludicrous ending that leaves you scratching your head. Not really scary either.
