wait... what the f*** happend to loki at the end????
Kevin Smith is God! (Or is God Alanis Morrisette?) I've seen this movie before and I'd forgotten how much I LOVE it. Spectacular script, spectacular actors, spectacular story. It's difficult to describe a Kevin Smith movie - you just have to see one for yourself.
****/**** kevin smith + catholic dogma = funny
What's this? I get to rate things? What fun!
I'm slacking on film ratings.
Christmas is coming the goose is getting fat. Please to put a penny in the old man's hat, please to out a penny in the old man's hat. If you have no penny, a haypenny will do. If you a have no haypenny a farthing will do. If you have no farthing then God bless you.....

LOL. that's a British round carol, that I learned in choral. I thought it was funny. Anyway. I'm doing this now or else I won't get a chance. My aunt just had her baby, a girl, Ashley Elizabeth, so next week we're gonna go visit her. I spent the whole day doing homework and my laundry. It rained and I had to run an errand at the mall here which is a few blocks away from here. And I went in the rain. I almost slipped twice, but I was okay. In the circuit City, the tvs were running the ROTK trailer. And I was pissed because in the movie, they didn't put the line "Give him the sword of the King" And some other stuff. I'm such a nord. I still run in front of the tv, whenever anything ROTK comes on. I really need a life. Oh yea, I lost my ROTK book today and it really annoyed me and I almost cried, but I finally found it a few mintues ago. and such a hapy reunion it was. lol. Oh well, see you guys and Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night,
This movie has an excellent mixture of comedy - and suprising thoughtfulness.

My favourite line has to be - "Don't have a belief - have an idea."

This film is clever. It's ideas are interesting and thought provoking - blended in with that welcome comedy.

Jay and Silent Bob also make this unmissable viewing
Not being a Catholic, a lot of this movie's barbs went over my head but this was nonetheless a fairly entertaining couple of hours. I haven't yet seen Chasing Amy but Mallrats was a big disappointment.
Smith regular Ben Affleck brings his mate Matt Damon to the fold, the two of them playing a pair of renegade angels cast out of heaven who discover a loophole whereby they can re-enter the pearly gates. If they do, however, God (Alanis Morrisette) will be shown to be fallible and the world will end. God's mouthpiece (Alan Rickman) recruits lapsed Catholic Bethany Sloane (Linda Fiorentino) to stop the two angels from achieving their goal and she accumulates Jay and Silent Bob, the thirteenth disciple Rufus (Chris Rock) and muse Serendipity (Salma Hayek) along the way. There's always plenty going on to keep the movie interesting, Smith's trademark juvenility punctating proceedings.
