@dopilus Exactly. I had no clue that this was a true story, and I liked it that way. It was beautiful well done film.
A Must see. 11+/10 Cheers...
I would have missed something wonderful!
Ok still think about if I had not watched the movie previously I would NOT watch it now!?
Knowing the main character might have erm d**d even sometime after film this is a spoiler for me????
I would never watch it now?? Perhaps I am a small percent but still think about users walking in and reading this now... some of us dont want to know a thing about flick other then the plot? So happy I watched it esp for the beautiful scenery, because if I read any of this Id have something wonderful!!!!
Sorry about that! I finished the movie early.. I actually checked on wikipedia that's where it says he died.. i'm not really sure if its in the movie or not.. but since its based on a true story it's more likely it is..
And by the way, that's really awesome!! I would totally love to see that!! That's sounds really cool.
I don't know why but surfing movies tend to be good and I do not surf. This surf-movie was good. 7/10
I had no idea this was a true
Watched it last night. Really quite good. But of the 2 recent true story surfer movies I prefer Soul Surfer slightly over this one
Deffinitly made me smile one minute and tear the next. Enjoyed this movie a ton loved it! Deffinitly recommend!
This is really a beautiful movie. I enjoyed ever second of it and I highly recommend it!
seems like gerard butler came from nowhere onto my "watch anything this actor's in" list. you clever "solar students of film" have probably thought of this, but just in case...if you have a favorite writer, director or actor, go to a flick they're involved with and hit their name in the titles or credits. it will take you to a page showing everything solar offers with this artist. you can do an anthological (? not sure that's a word but i reckon it is now) study of their work. often gives an insightful overview.
