It was funny how much of this I remembered as I watched it...when they were going to the party at the beach house, I told my mom "Beethoven's gonna pull the whole porch down!". I've probably seen that movie a few times at least, and it's even better when I can rewind the DVR and go "looook at the pupppieeess!". I love a fluffy cute puppies montage.

BEETHOVEN'S 2ND
(ROD DANIEL, 1993)
PG
1 HOUR 29 MINUTES
not near the original like the sequel rule goes bigger is better. more dogs doesn't mean more laughs and thats why this film fails to live up to the original. gone is the sweet family and gone is the lovable plot. this could of continued with the franchise but this was the beginning of a franchise that is now getting too long.
The best sequel out of the whole Beethoven series. A cheesy and ripped-off plot of 101 Dalmatians, but still okay. An awful script, and a good cast makes Beethoven's 2nd, slightly better than the original, just more cheesier than the first.
** (out of four)

The lovable St. Bernard is back and now he wants to start a family.

Not the worst of the sequels and probably as good as the first, but this still offers few new and refreshing moments.
After one film, do we really have to see a second. Not as funny even for kids. Its all potty humor, and sexual situations or sexual references. Only for kids for an hour and a half's entertainment.
