[...] probably because christian bail isnt batman[/quote] That would make sense in two ways. Bale demanding a big paycheck and the studio not wanting to take the big risk because he isn't Batman. On the other hand, Superman as a first movie had a bigger budget than this one. Batman vs. Superman latest known budget = 131 million. Superman MoS = 225 Million Quite a difference.

@jet2643 I just saw the preview of Protector 2! Phew, it looks action-packed, I'll be on the lookout for it. I wasn't aware of the Protector franchise, I stumbled upon it upon watching some other previews. Although I do know Tony Jaa from Ong Bak, another great watch. I hope I enjoy this one, Protector 1.
I actually prefer this one over the first, but both are decent enough watches. I find the major flaw of these movies is the complete lack of "big thinking." It seems like in a day where all crime is legal, people would be doing a lot more than killing each other to "purge" themselves. I mean, it kind of works as people see killing as a spiritual thing to purge their natural instincts as human beings, but in reality, as calculated, intelligent human beings, people are going to be planning and scheming and going above and beyond the scope of "I want to go downtown and kill people!" Still, enjoyable watch. It seems like they can turn this into a series now which is cool. I hope they expand on the idea further. 8/10 THANK YOU FOR LINKS!
I usually don't like these types of stories, but this has kept my interest. I like the main character, CDC dude, he was on House of Cards. I think this warrants a high score for originality. I like the old man too, hated him on GoT, but he's cool on here. 9.5/10
