Сomments

Started watching this, and realized how out of order everything is. Did some checking on the episode guide on Wiki, To watch them in the original order: 1(original pilot, should be the 126 min version. Allmyvideos.net from Taxidriver is the correct one) Then find the 42:44 minute version on episode one, which is the real "train job" episode.
Then watch the rest in this order...->2->6->7->3->4->5->8->9->13->14->12->10
1. Serenity (original 126 min pilot)
2. The Train Job
3. Bushwhacked
4. Shindig
5. Safe
6. Our Mrs. Reynolds
7. Jaynestown
8. Out of Gas
9. Ariel
10. War Stories
11. Trash
12. The Message
13. Heart of Gold
14. Objects in Space
While sst787 has the correct order of episodes, double check the links you watch (reference IMDB for episode descriptions) because some of the ones I watched didn't have the correct episode to go with the title of the episode.
For instance, when I clicked on 'Serenity' the link I watched it was actually 'Trash'. And 'The Train Job' was actually the 2-part 86 minute 'Serenity' pilot. So it looks like some linkers may have loaded the wrong episodes under certain episode titles.
Here's the correct/intended order of the episodes:
1. Serenity
2. The Train Job
3. Bushwhacked
4. Shindig
5. Safe
6. Our Mrs. Reynolds
7. Jaynestown
8. Out of Gas
9. Ariel
10. War Stories
11. Trash
12. The Message
13. Heart of Gold
14. Objects in Space
This show is like a weird mixture of a western/futuristic space travel Sci-Fi after watching the first episode it kind of put me off this show. It must get better tho because the comments and ratings are pretty good so I might come back to it later.
@knldgSm
I love this show so much I created a thread for everyone: Thread (3631)
We can only add links per (IMDB ID)
(Ep 2 ID 0579532) says it would be (Ep 3 "Our Mrs. Reynolds").
That is incorrect info from IMDB.
To Error is Human, and humans add the information @IMDb.
TRUST ME I emailed them last year on multiple occasions within their system as a member and got the run around.
Therefore: No one can fix this issue b/c we use IMDB ID to ADD links...which is why I created my thread last year with correct order from my DVD. (Ep# 6 is actually "Our Mrs. Reynolds" Release Date: (October 4, 2002)
Dont stress every single site has same wrong order nothing can be done.
Enjoy The Solartainment. Firefly is Brilliant! Cheers...
one of the best shows ever done. I'd love to see it come back.
One of the only series I wish would come back. I would do many inappropriate things to get this one back. YOU HEAR ME!!
How does a network manage to air episodes out of order? That is tragic.
@raginmjolnir: Hiya, Thanxalots for having cleared that up for me. :-)
@Shinobi567
You've got that backwards m'dear. The movie 'Serenity' was a closing up of storyline from the series 'Firefly', albeit a very rushed one. Joss Whedon had supposedly planned like 5-6 seasons of Firefly in which the stories of a couple characters would play out, Shephard and the Companion in particular. Unfortunately the TV show was cancelled, but the fans took to the interwebs and carried on ... for a couple years I think, driving DVD Sales and such, until someone finally said "You know, we might be able to turn a buck on this", and 'lo a feature film was green lit.
