Up until this point, at least half the time I watched each episode, I was annoyed. Now, I do not consider it entertainment to be annoyed by what the writers of this series consider interesting. 15 minutes into this episode, I had enough. I am officially done. I expected much more from HBO. I appreciate the links and am so glad I was not paying to see this stuff.
I really wish you all would stop with the spoilers. I'd like the mind-blowing intensity to be a SURPRISE. ...not to mention all three of you blurted out that this is an episode. Now I don't know if I want to watch it...
This movie this franchise is what it is. It's meant to be a great action flick circa the 80's and 90's where plot took a back seat. This film has too big an ensemble cast to make a serious plot and have great acting to win academy awards. Those who are looking for those two things don't bother watching. Overall a great action film the best of the franchise so far. 9/10 for me.
Got to think big. Even if you wanted to kill people, why not go get one of our 4,800 nuclear warheads? Topple skyscrapers, commit identity theft, massive kidnapping and slavery, topple government positions and take over entire states...as long as the crime is committed on that one day it's perfectly ok.
I was a little disappointed about this film! The trailer was humourous, and there were funny bits. But it was a sorry movie, unfortunately. Susan Sarandon as Melissa's grandmother was quite a hoot though. The movie just tried too hard and fell short.
Definitely not a B movie...B doesn't mean you didn't like it as much. This was a very cool movie, and one of the better reboots you'll find. It was created by the master of zombies himself, George Romero, to highlight the human condition in a light other than the undead. So, no, these aren't zombies. They're the Infected. Similar results philosophically, but the results on social structure are of different origin.
